To create a recipe, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "Recipes" page under the Nutrition section. You'll see a list of all your custom recipes. Click "New Recipe" at the top of the page.
- Add recipe details. Start by providing the name of your recipe (e.g., "Protein Pancakes") and optionally, cooking instructions to guide clients on how to prepare the meal.
- Add food items:
- From custom foods: Select foods from your list of custom food items that you've created under the Foods page.
- From the verified food database: Use the search bar to access over 1.9 million verified food items. You can search by name, brand, or nutritional content to find the perfect ingredients.
- Create on the fly: If needed, you can create a new custom food item directly from the recipe creation screen.
2. Understanding nutritional totals
As you add food items, the total nutritional values of the recipe will automatically update. These include Total Calories, Protein, Carbs & Fats.
